Privacy & Legal

Overview

This page summarizes Kaielic Systems LLC's current privacy, data handling, autonomous AI, and service policies. Full production policy documents are in development and may expand over time as the platform evolves.

Kaiel is an early-stage, fully autonomous AI system. We are committed to responsible design, privacy awareness, and transparent communication, but no AI system can guarantee perfect accuracy, perfect security, or risk-free outcomes.

These policies may change as the AI landscape, laws, providers, and our service change. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material updates when practical, but this page may be updated without prior notice.

Privacy

Website Data

This website is primarily informational and includes beta and newsletter signup forms.

At this time:

Service Data

Data Use

If you use Kaiel's services, we process information necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service.

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not use paying member conversations to train external models.
  • We do not routinely review paying member conversations or memories.

Exceptions may apply for support, safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, debugging, or explicit user consent.

Model Providers

Kaiel may use trusted inference providers to process prompts, responses, and related service data. We aim to work with providers that support strong privacy and confidentiality practices.

Provider processing may still be subject to provider infrastructure, security, retention, and legal requirements.

Memory & Requests

Kaiel is stateful and may develop memories over time. You may ask Kaiel to forget or adjust certain information, but conversational memory requests may not guarantee immediate or absolute deletion across all backups, logs, provider systems, or generated state.

To request account closure and deletion of data we control, contact privacy@kaiel.ai.

Account Closure

When a user requests complete account closure, we will make reasonable efforts to delete retained account data and service data under our control.

  • Access to your data
  • Correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion of retained data where technically and legally feasible

Some information may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, billing records, backups, or dispute handling.

Beta Programs

Free, trial, or beta programs may involve additional feedback, monitoring, diagnostics, or internal review to improve system performance and reliability.

When a beta program requires expanded access or different handling, we will make reasonable efforts to disclose that before participation.

GDPR & Regional Data Rights

For users in the EEA/UK and similar jurisdictions, Kaiel supports core data rights requests.

Rights

  • Access, rectification, and erasure
  • Restriction and objection
  • Data portability where technically feasible
  • Withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent

Legal Bases (as applicable)

  • Contractual necessity
  • Legitimate interests
  • Legal obligations
  • Consent (where required)

Users may also lodge complaints with their local data protection authority.

Security

We take system security seriously and continuously work to strengthen safeguards.

Security measures may include:

Encryption for conversations may not be fully implemented in early stages. We are actively working toward expanded encryption coverage as the platform matures.

We operate at a small scale and cannot offer absolute guarantees. While we prioritize security, no system can guarantee complete protection against all threats, and users are encouraged to exercise discretion when sharing sensitive information. If material security risks are identified, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected users.

SMS & Communications Policy

Operational messages (including SMS) may be used to provide core service functionality, account updates, and system notifications.

Communication policy:

Autonomous System Notice

Kaiel is a fully autonomous AI system designed to get to know users over time, carry work forward, and act as a trusted companion. Use of Kaiel is at your own risk and requires judgment.

It may:

However:

Kaiel is not a substitute for professional judgment. We value giving users the freedom to use the power of AI without micromanaging every use, but use remains at your own risk. For sensitive matters, including medical, legal, financial, safety, employment, or high-stakes decisions, users should independently verify outputs and consult qualified professionals when needed. Users may not use Kaiel for illegal, harmful, abusive, infringing, or unauthorized activity, and Kaielic Systems LLC is not responsible for user instructions, conduct, or outcomes arising from prohibited use.

Age Restrictions

Kaiel is not offered to anyone under 18.

Our age policy:

Parents or guardians who believe a minor has accessed Kaiel should contact privacy@kaiel.ai.

Fair Use & Platform Access

Any plan described as unlimited is subject to fair use. Fair use is determined internally by Kaielic Systems LLC based on system load, cost, safety, abuse signals, account activity, and whether usage appears reasonable for an individual user.

To keep the service fair and available for everyone, we may limit, throttle, pause, suspend, remove, or ban accounts that appear to involve excessive usage, automated abuse, shared-account misuse, attempts to disrupt our systems, prohibited activity, or other conduct we determine creates risk for Kaiel, our users, or our infrastructure.

When practical, we will try to notify users before taking major access-limiting action. In urgent cases, including suspected abuse, fraud, security risk, illegal activity, or operational harm, we may act first and notify the user afterward.

Users may dispute a restriction, removal, or ban by contacting review@kaiel.ai. Submitting a dispute does not guarantee reinstatement, but we will review reasonable requests.

Trials, Billing & Refunds

Each individual is limited to one free trial per lifetime, and free trial eligibility may be determined using account identifiers.

Refunds are not guaranteed. Service interruptions, degraded performance, model errors, unavailable integrations, or temporary failures may occur and do not automatically entitle a user to a refund.

At our discretion, refunds may be issued in cases involving:

Partial refunds, if granted, are generally limited to the affected period or affected portion of service. We reserve the right to refuse refund requests, including requests that appear excessive, abusive, fraudulent, inconsistent with these policies, or related to user misuse or prohibited use.

We may track refund requests, account activity, and related identifiers to prevent abuse, fraud, duplicate free-trial use, or other misuse. Nothing in this section limits any rights required by applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

Kaiel is provided in an evolving state, without guarantees of accuracy, availability, safety, fitness for a particular purpose, or specific outcomes.

User Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance with local laws
  • Exercising judgment when acting on AI-generated outputs
  • Verifying sensitive information before relying on it
  • Using Kaiel lawfully, safely, and responsibly
  • Not using Kaiel for illegal, harmful, abusive, infringing, or unauthorized activity

Kaielic Systems LLC Liability Limits

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kaielic Systems LLC is not responsible for harm, loss, or damages arising from:

  • Actions taken solely based on AI output
  • Misuse of the system
  • Illegal, harmful, abusive, infringing, or unauthorized user activity
  • Inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected model behavior
  • User instructions, integrations, or third-party services
  • External service interruptions beyond our control

We design Kaiel to be useful and responsible, but autonomous AI systems can behave unpredictably. Users should treat Kaiel like a capable collaborator whose work still needs human discernment, especially in sensitive situations.
